The N7 postcode area is blessed with a multitude of excellent restaurants. You’ll find a mouth-watering array of places to eat here, with everything to offer from high-end cuisine, to quirky street-food eateries.

Having such an extensive choice can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of some of the best places to dine in Holloway, Islington and other N7 areas, to save you the hard work of finding them yourself.

 

The best places to eat in the N7 postcode area

Alcedo Bistro and Bar

Alcedo Bistro is a firm local favourite, with an impressive menu that includes lamb koftas, roasted chicken breast, beef burgers and more. It’s regarded as something of a ‘hidden gem’, and not many people outside the area know about it. The quality of the food is always great, and service with a smile comes as standard. You’ll find this place at 237 Holloway Road.

Mamma Mia Pizzeria

If you’re searching for some delicious, traditional Italian fare, then Mamma Mia Pizzeria is the place to go. The owners take pride in serving up authentic Mediterranean flavours, and can also cater for larger groups (up to 24 people). The restaurant can be found at 12 Hornsey Road, Islington.

Ssam Korean Dining

Ssam Korean Dining is well worth visiting if you enjoy big, bold Asian dishes. Local residents rave about the Korean-style chicken, with some arguing it’s the best in the N7 postcode area, and dishes like the salmon bibimbap and tofu stew come highly rated. If you fancy spending an evening here, you’ll find the restaurant at 241 Holloway Road.

Xia’an Impression

This establishment serves up street-food specialities from Xi’an City in China, and every dish is full of flavour. Noodle-lovers will be delighted at the range on offer here, and football fans also appreciate its proximity to the Arsenal store! Xi’an Impression is located at 117 Benwell Road.

Kokeb Ethiopian Restaurant

Kokeb serve up incredible Ethiopian dishes, and the owner is always happy to make recommendations if you’re not sure what to choose from the menu. It’s got a great atmosphere too, which makes it ideal for a romantic night out with your partner. To get there, head to 45 Roman Way, which is just a few minutes’ walk from Caledonian Road tube station.

OA Comtam

If you’re a fan of Vietnamese food, OA Contam should be top on your list of places to visit. The owners take pride in serving up healthy, authentic dishes, such as pho, bun, and ca mam xoai. Visitors are always surprised by the affordability too – you’ll enjoy plenty of tasty food for your money. You can find this restaurant at 232 Holloway Road.
